His Excellency President Dr Irfaan Ali met with four Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) judges: Justice Adrian Saunders, Justice Winston Charles Anderson, Justice Maureen Rajnauth-Lee and Justice Denys Barrow on Tuesday evening at State House.

Prime Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d), the Honourable Mark Phillips; Vice President, the Honourable Dr Bharrat Jagdeo; Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, the Honourable Anil Nandlall; Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance, the Honourable Gail Teixeira; Minister of Public Works, the Honourable Juan Edghill; Minister of Public Service, the Honourable Sonia Parag; Chief Justice (ag) Roxane George-Wiltshire and Chancellor of the Judiciary (ag) Justice Yonette Cummings-Edwards were also at the meeting.

The CCJ will have full-court sessions in Guyana, today (June 21) and tomorrow (June 22), while members will also participate in various training sessions with local stakeholders.
