Prime Minister, the Honourable Mark Phillips hosted a dinner on Friday evening in honour of the visiting Secretary General of the Organisation of American States Luis Almagro, and his delegation at the Prime Minister's Residence on Main Street.

The Prime Minister was joined by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd; Guyana’s Ambassador to the United States of America, HE Samuel Hinds; Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Elisabeth Harper and other officials.
The OAS, which consists of all 35 independent states of the Americas, constitutes the main political, juridical, and social governmental forum in the hemisphere.
